If you thought you were the only one who added Sriracha to your mayonnaise, or maybe you invented the combination, you’d be wrong. The truth is, Kewpie know all about your little habit and have decided to go ahead and make everyone’s life easier by releasing a special Kewpie Sriracha sauce in an easy-squeeze bottle.
The spicy new product, which contains 25% Sriracha chilli sauce, can be used on sushi, sandwiches and salads, basically, anywhere you see fit. We won’t tell.
Unlike other mayonnaise, Kewpie use egg yolks only, as opposed to the whole egg, which makes it richer and creamier than its western counterpart. Its slightly tangy flavour comes from Japanese rice vinegar.
Kewpie Sriracha Mayo, alongside sister product Kewpie Wasabi, is available to purchase at Woolworths supermarkets for $4.75.
