Vegans can now veg out on Lindt's new plant-based chocolate blocks

Lindt Classic vegan chocolate

The new range is made from a blend of cocoa beans, almond paste and oat powder to recreate the creaminess of milk chocolate.

The vegan chocolate bar has been raised. Swiss chocolatier Lindt has just launched its first premium plant-based blocks into Australia, and you can even find them at your local supermarket.

The new Lindt Classic Vegan range includes two flavours – Vegan Smooth and Vegan Hazelnut. Both bars are made from a blend of high-quality cocoa beans with almond paste and oat powder to recreate the creaminess of milk chocolate. The hazelnut variety has the addition of roasted hazelnut pieces for a rich, nutty finish.

“People love and adore the creaminess and velvety rich flavour of milk chocolate, and now vegans get to enjoy that premium full sensory, creamy chocolate experience whilst not compromising on quality or taste,” Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler said.

“The rounded cocoa flavour, balanced sweetness and rich creaminess creates a memorable chocolate experience that truly delivers on taste.”

Lindt Classic Vegan Smooth and Hazelnut chocolate is priced at $6 for a 100g block. Find them at Lindt chocolate shops, independent grocers and Coles supermarkets nationally.
