If you’re having trouble convincing yourself that chocolate is an antioxidant-rich superfood, these medicinal mushroom chocolates by Loco Love will settle the argument.

Developed by a former naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist, the organic and vegan chocolate bars combine organic cacao from Peru with wellness ingredients like tonic herbs and healing spices.

The cult brand’s two latest launches are built around medicinal mushrooms. There’s Imagine, a caramel white chocolate block made with crunchy cookie pieces and lion’s mane mushrooms, and Nirvana, a blend of 66% Peruvian cacao with dehydrated coconut blossom nectar, cordyceps and Chinese herb he shou wu. Lion’s mane is said to support brain and nervous system health, while cordyceps are believed to increase vitality, energy and libido.

Other flavours in the range include black cherry and schisandra, peanut butter caramel and mucuna, and salted macadamia, turmeric and lemon cream.
