Set to appear on MasterChef as a guest judge, Ottolenghi is known for creating dishes that combine bold, interesting flavours and are also a visual delight. Colour and crunch are hallmarks of his cooking. “It’s vibrant, surprising and sunny,” Ottolenghi says. “And it’s quite ballsy. It’s food that isn’t meek in any way.” Known for his London restaurant NOPI, the chef is a long-time champion of vegetables. “People’s perceptions of vegetables, what they are, their importance, how versatile they are, the whole perspective, has changed completely.”
