We're lovin' it.
McDonald’s has been named the official partner of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant and in honour of the occasion they have decreed a few changes.
For a fast food feast fit for a queen, McDonald’s UK has launched a limited edition fine china set that includes a ceramic version of the classic combo meal – because there’s no way the Queen eats her Big Mac straight out of the bag.
What’s more, they have also engaged the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to re-create their iconic jingle to give it a bit more of a regal feel.
In a tribute to HM, they’ve also updated their tagline from “I’m lovin’ it” to “one’s lovin’ it”. Catchy, right? We think ma’am would be impressed.
And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve renamed the Quarter Pounder a Royale with Cheese, which feels more like a tribute to Pulp Fiction than Queen Liz if you ask us.
Sadly, these changes will only take place in the UK for a limited time only, so make sure you ask your British mates to send you a porcelain French fry holder.
