A year after Messina launched their ice cream bars into Woolworths, the gelato giant is back with a choc-coconut lamington flavour.

The new iced treat is made from a biscuit base topped with rich chocolate gelato, desiccated coconut and raspberry sauce, coated in milk chocolate.

This means you no longer need to trek across town for a scoop of your favourite gelato flavour. All you need to do is stroll cooly over to the freezer aisle at your local Woolies and help yourself.

Messina Co-owner and Head Chef, Donato Toce, said: “At Gelato Messina we constantly strive to push the boundaries of flavours within our gelato range. The Messina Lamington Gelato Bar does just that and we can’t wait for Aussies to try it!”

The best part?  Each box of four is priced at $10, which feels extremely fair considering a single scoop will set you back $5.30 in-store.

Messina Lamington bars are now available to purchase from Woolworths and Coles supermarkets nationwide for $10.
