If you think that Easter eggs are just for kids, then you have another thing coming. Much loved sweet treat creators Gelato Messina are out to prove that Easter eggs can go far beyond the traditional dairy milk morsel with their 2018 release.

‘The Yolk’s On Us’ is a trio of decadent gelato-based Easter eggs that are sold as a single sugar-laden family. While $70 for all three may seem a little pricey, it’s not considering the effort that went into the creation of each ‘creme egg’ and the fact that they feed 6-9 people. The creamy eggs are encased in a chocolate shell, containing within a creamy gelato centre and gooey tropical fruit yoke.

Egg flavours include a passionfruit yolk, white chocolate gelato and dark chocolate shell combination, a mango yolk, cheesecake gelato with a caramel white chocolate shell, and a yellow peach yolk paired with vanilla gelato and encased within a milk chocolate shell.
