Featuring a vibrant palette to please your palate.
Pantone, the global authority on colour has dazzled us with visually striking tableware, homewares and ornaments. Now, the brand is making a foray into the culinary world, with their own cookbook, Pantone Foodmood.
Bringing their expert eye-appeal to the kitchen, fifty-six recipes have been compiled around eight colours and their variations, including yellow, magenta, green, blue, purple, orange, red and brown. Think savoury asparagus tart for green, tandoori chicken for orange and mango pudding with panna cotta for yellow.

Recipes have been divided into collections, from spring-inspired dishes to dinner party classics. Each collection features an introduction from a Pantone colour expert which explains the colours connection to food. Visually striking photos showcase each dish in its brightly coloured glory, along with fun sketches and tips for styling and presentation. The book also includes 40 suggested menus where different coloured recipes can be combined for an array of occasions like brunch, dessert buffet and children’s parties.
The latest venture is determined to establish cooking as a visual art and is as much a treat for the eyes as it is the stomach. It no doubt will appeal to brand devotees, design fanatics and any cook looking to add a touch of artistry to the kitchen.
