Tired of plain old salted chips? Smith’s has come out with a limited edition Taste Icons range, featuring flavours from cult-favourite fast food brands Red Rooster, Subway and Mad Mex.

There are five new exclusive flavours in total: Subway-inspired Crinkle Meatball Sub, Crinkle Pizza Sub and Crinkle Chicken Teriyaki Sub; Red Rooster-inspired Crinkle Reds Fried Chicken Burger; and Mad Mex-inspired Double Crunch Hot Sauce.

There’s plenty to choose from, but I’m curious – how will the Fried Chicken Burger flavour fare? Controversial opinion, but I love Red Rooster. It may not be everyone’s #1 fast-food pick, but it has a great broad menu, and those Corn Wheels always hit the sweet spot.

The Taste Icons range is available now at Woolworths, Coles and other independent retailers. The Subway Meatball Sub flavour is available exclusively at Coles, and the Subway Pizza Sub flavour is available exclusively at Woolworths.
