With two important public holiday long weekends fast approaching, it can feel a tad anxiety-inducing to wonder how you’re going to grab any supplies you might need at the last moment. Will the supermarkets be closing? If so, when? Fear not, for we’ve gathered all the info you need onto one handy page. Here’s when supermarkets will be open and closed during the Easter long weekend, from Good Friday on April 18 to Easter Monday on April 21; and Anzac Day, Friday, April 25.

Are supermarkets open on Good Friday?
Those keen to get last-minute shopping done before the weekend should prepare ahead of time, as most supermarkets will be shut on Good Friday. Woolworths confirmed it would be closing the doors of the majority of its supermarkets across Australia. But there will be a handful of Woolies that will remain open.
Good Friday, April 18
NSW & ACT: All Woolworths stores closed.
Victoria: All Woolworths stores closed.
Queensland: All Woolworths stores closed, except for Brisbane Airport, which will be open.
South Australia: All Woolworths stores closed, except for Mount Barker, Mount Barker South, Murray Bridge Marketplace and Victor Harbour.
Tasmania: All Woolworths stores closed.
Western Australia: All Woolworths stores closed, except for Dunsborough, Perth Airport, Eaton Fair, Margaret River, Busselton and Dalyellup.
Northern Territory: All Woolworths stores closed.
Are supermarkets open on Easter Saturday?
All Woolworths supermarkets will re-open their doors on Easter Saturday across the country, though some Metro stores may remain closed across all states and territories.

Are supermarkets open on Anzac Day?
Shops and businesses close on Anzac Day to pay tribute to our veterans, and to ensure that people are able to attend services. But the rules here differ slightly from state to state.
Anzac Day, Friday, April 25
NSW: As of this year, all NSW retail stores are required to remain closed on Anzac Day. There are some exceptions to this rule, including small fruit and veg stores, chemists, cafes and takeaway food shops.
ACT: All Woolworths stores will open at 1pm.
Victoria: All Woolworths stores will open at 1pm.
Queensland: All Woolworths stores will be closed, except for Brisbane Airport, which will be open.
South Australia: Most Woolworths stores will be closed. You can check if your local store is open here.
Tasmania: All Woolworths stores will open at 12:30pm.
Western Australia: All Perth Metro stores will be closed. Regional Woolworths stores will open at 12pm or 1pm.
Northern Territory: All Woolworths stores will open at 1pm.
