Eclectic is an understatement.
Jamie Oliver may be one of the world’s most famous chefs, but the restaurateur is famously private when it comes to his brood of five. Now fans of the celebrity cook are able to take a look inside his London home thanks to wife Jools’ Instagram account. There she shared pictures of their family abode, which underwent a major refurbishment from the former 1970s style the Grade II listed house came with when purchased last year.

The seven bedroom mansion sits in North London’s Hampstead, and dates back to the 17th century. Spanning 5,700 square feet over four floors linked by staircase, the house has period features aplenty, including antique floorings, panelled walls and thick moldings. The Oliver family’s new additions to the house include a play room, family room, wine cellar, and boudoir and storage.

The design of the house is nothing short of eclectic, with a Louis XV super king size bed in the main bedroom. The junior members of the household are equally spoilt in the sleeping category with son Buddy in a bed from Nubie that resembles a treehouse. Other notable additions to the family home include a floral-adorned bathroom, complete with an impressively large freestanding bath, and a nursery overflowing with toys.
