And we're back to two packs per person.
Another lockdown, another toilet paper shortage. Coles and Woolworths have just reinstated buying limits on toilet paper in a bid to curb panic buying.
Both major supermarkets will be capping toilet paper at two packs per person for the duration of the seven-day lockdown. In some locations, it’s already too late, with TP stashes completely wiped out, and not a square to spare.

“We have plenty of stock in our supply chain, and this temporary measure will help us to manage demand so that we can return our stores to a fully-stocked position as quickly as possible,” a spokesman for Coles supermarkets said.
“We ask that customers stay calm, shop normally, and be respectful to our hardworking team members.”
It’s the fourth lockdown for the state, with Victorians currently only able to leave their homes for five reasons – for food and supplies (within 5km from their house), authorised work, care and caregiving, exercise for up to two hours each day (within 5 km), and getting vaccinated.
Individuals are reminded to wear a mask when leaving the house and to remain socially distanced from other individuals at all times.
