And you won't believe what it's called.
Having already dominated the television world with her talk show, Oprah Winfrey has turned her attention to the supermarket shelves. The media mogul has formed a partnership with Kraft Heinz for joint venture Mealtime Stories, which is shortly set to debut a line of food. And one that is to be called (in typical Oprah fashion) O, That’s Good!
Oprah will be pushing out the line of refrigerated soups and sides in select stores from October at prices that range from $US4.49 to $US4.99. The ready to eat options are family favourites (like mash) that are created free from artificial flavours and dyes.
“I love healthy foods and eating from my garden,” said Oprah in a statement about the line’s intentions. “When Kraft Heinz approached me for a food line, what got my attention is making nutritious comfort foods more accessible to everyone. This product line is real, delicious food with a twist. You’ll feel good about serving it for your family.”
Considering Oprah’s history of interest in charitable causes it’s no surprise that a portion of profits from O, That’s Good! will be donated to a handful of charities that include Rise Against Hunger and Feeding America.
