Put down the tent poles – Paperbark Camp’s 20th anniversary celebrations are the luxe way to escape to nature. Words by Corinne Parkes.
Tucked between pristine bushland and white sand beaches in Jervis Bay, NSW, the peaceful eco-glamping retreat will host two ‘Dinner Under The Stars’ banquets to help celebrate their milestone birthday, with a little help from renowned and celebrated chef Justin North.
On April 27th and May 4th, North and the team from Paperbark’s Gunyah restaurant will craft a curated, candlelit banquet featuring the best of the South Coast’s premium produce. Diners won’t go thirsty, either, with local wines and craft beers on offer.
The pioneers of glamping in Australia, Paperbark Camp’s award-winning elevated safari tents offer a blend of sophistication and simplicity making them a much-loved destination for travellers who crave a secluded bush getaway without giving up their creature comforts.
The three-course dinners are $150 per non-staying guest or a $75 surcharge per in-house guest, with reservations available here.
Or, if you’re feeling lucky, Paperbark Camp are running an Instagram competition to win a weekend stay in a Deluxe Safari tent, a seat at the Dinner Under the Stars table on May 4th, and a Pony Rider Gift Voucher and personal style session (along with two runner-up prizes).
From today, aspiring glampers can go into the running to win one of these three prizes, just by commenting and tagging a fellow glamper on Paperbark’s latest Instagram post, and following @paperbark_camp and @pony_rider.
Winners will be announced on April 1st.
