Woolworths has upgraded its annual Christmas range to include plant-based offerings for vegans as well as Aussie desserts made from native Australian ingredients.
No one will be left out this year, with new vegan products like a soy protein roast with cranberry glaze, a vegan chocolate mud cake, and a plant-based fruit pudding, which you can pair with two types of dairy-free custard. There’s also egg-free meringues for your plant-based pav.
For an Aussie spread, you’ll find Davidson plum fruit mince tarts and lemon myrtle meringues currently on shelves.
If you’re looking to buy local this year, everything in Woolworth’s premium Gold range is made in Australia, with Woolies sourcing desserts from local producers like Buonissimo Bakery in NSW, The Country Chef Bakery Co on the Sunshine Coast, and Hunter Heritage Gourmet Foods in NSW.

Woolworths Christmas hams are also locally sourced too, with the Gold Free Range Triple Smoked Ham supplied from D’Orsogna in Perth and Sunpork in Queensland. Woolworths’ Double Smoked Half Leg Ham was also just named the best supermarket ham in the country in Australian Pork’s annual taste test.
