Snap up a bargain.
Traditionally considered a luxury item, this Easter, Aussie families won’t have to shell out for a seafood feast with Woolworths bringing down the price of lobster, salmon, prawns, and more.
The best catch will be the Western Australian small rock lobster, which will be reduced from $27 to $22 across all states.
Part of the spiny lobster family, the Western Rock Lobster is known for its firm flesh and sweet taste. The crustacean can be baked, barbecued, grilled, steamed and poached, and works well with creamy, cheesy sauces, such as Thermidor or a simple herb butter.
Woolworths estimates its customers will purchase more than 60,000 rock lobsters ahead of the long weekend and 200 tonnes of cooked tiger prawns.
Tim Dudding, Woolworths Commercial Director for Seafood, said: “Rock lobster is always one of our most popular seafood products, particularly in the lead up to holidays like Christmas and Easter, so we are pleased to announce the return of our $22 Rock Lobster deal.”
“We have an amazing shell-lection of fish and other seafood products for all those Easter shell-a-brations.”
