As hot cross bun season begins, Woolworths is releasing its special limited-edition bun range, led by a brand-new, utterly indulgent flavour. The new Mudcake Hot Cross Buns, inspired by the iconic Woolies mudcake, come filled with a rich chocolate filling, and will be hitting stores on January 7. They’ll be joining the hugely popular Cinnabon Hot Cross Buns, which have returned for a limited time this year and are already on sale, while stocks last. Also now on sale are Caramelised Biscuit Hot Cross Buns – made with a delicious caramelised biscuit spread – and Woolworths Hot Cross Buns filled with Caramel, inspired by Caramello. These chocolate buns come with a gooey caramel filling and Cadbury milk chocolate chips. Woolworths’ limited-edition hot cross buns are available in packs of 4 for $5.50 each.
