Barzaari Chippendale has launched a new dinner series which explores the little known regions of the Eastern Mediterranean, starting with Cyprus (May 22) before trekking over to Lebanon (July 3) and Jordan (August 14). Each feast includes a five course meal with snacks to share. First up is Cyprus, where chef Darryl Martin will serve traditional dishes such as haloumopita cheese pies, braised lamb shoulder and Cyprian pudding with a fig, apricot and rose sorbet. Sash launches one-night exhibition
Sydney’s Sash is joining forces with dynamic local artist Saint Ali to launch a one-night-only gallery. On Thursday, 30 May, Sash’s translucent purple glow will illuminant Saint Ali’s creations. The local artist has rapidly built a name for himself, creating portraits of some of the nation’s most famous faces. From 6.30PM, art-lovers will devour Saint Ali’s creations, alongside a surprise menu of Sash’s boundary pushing share-style creations.
