The NSW factory pumps out 8.8 million kilos of Nutella a year, now lovingly wrapped in an iconic Aussie location. Every Wednesday night between September 21 and October 26, from 5pm to 10pm, the Europa Night Market will take over Melbourne’s much loved Queen Victoria Market. Celebrating the very best of Melbourne’s diverse and thriving European culture, visitors will be transported to a different part of the continent every week, with rotating themes bringing the food, flavours and flair of Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. The inner west eatery has curated Oddity, a new event series developed through a ferment-centric lens. Each event will be sculpted around the oddness of things – things made, discovered, cooked, fermented and crafted – or something entirely different. The first instalment, Oddity: Loire Valley, is set to take place on Thursday, October 20, from 7pm to 10pm. A year on from their first Freshie Pils beer launch, Freshwater Brewing are set to open their new Brookvale taproom and restaurant on Sunday.
