One of Australia’s longest running food and wine festivals, Grape Escape, is set to return to the Grampians in 2018 with a diverse line-up of wine, food and entertainment for all ages.
The month-long festival will showcase some of Australia’s most distinguished winemakers from the Grampians, Pyranees & Henty regions, giving festival goers the opportunity to taste their way through award winning drops, explore over 120 exhibitor stalls or bid to take home a rare taste of the Grampians in the highly anticipated Grampians Winemakers Reserve Shiraz Barrique auction .
Recruiting the help of celebrity chefs Paul West, the host of popular TV series “River Cottage Australia”, and Matt Sinclair, one of MasterChef AU’s most loved contestant and face of channel 10’s “The Cooks Pantry”, Grape Escape 2018 will give guests the chance to learn from the pros in masterclasses and demonstrations using the regions finest local and seasonal produce.
Located in the breathtaking Halls Gap bushland, the festival offers an unrivalled environment featuring live music performances from the likes of The Settlement and local band Orange Whip whilst a range of food trucks will be at the ready to help fans refuel before the next act.
Parents will be able to enjoy a glass, or two while the youngsters are entertained at the festival village with native animals, boomerang painting, potting herb workshops, pasta making and plenty more.
