Merivale and Campari will transform the Ivy from the 17th September to the 12th October, inviting you to step into a world of Campari as part of this years Red Night Series. Over four weeks, you can experience the flavours, aromas and colours through a range of bespoke drinks. Every friday from 5pm till late, the Pool Club will transform into an Italian Riviera complete with Campari cocktails, pizza and DJ’s. On the 24th September, Aesop will launch a brass oil burner, designed to infuse your interior space with scent and elegance. To celebrate, you can score a free souva from the 20th September from 11-2pm, filled with succulent, sizzling meats and all the trimmings. This collaboration marks a new chapter, bringing together the best of Greek street food and natural frozen yogurt just in time for spring and summer. From the Jimmy Grants side, you can enjoy award-winning eight-hour lamb or rotisserie chicken and the Ms Gazi: soft shell crab, kewpie mayo and honey. High tea may be a traditionally British past-time but the W Hotel Brisbane has proven that the occasion can be a decidedly Aussie affair. In August, the lavish new Queensland hotel launched the High Tea of Aus, a special celebration of Australian flavours and favourites, where the traditional have been reimagined, from the meat pie to lamingtons. Created as a collaboration between W Brisbane’s executive chef Robert Sauer, chef de cuisine Isa Hagstrom and executive pastry chef Nicholas Waring, the menu is an ode to local produce. To celebrate International Champagne Day on October 19, The Byron at Byron will be hosting the annual Country Style Champagne Dinner in conjunction with the Champagne Bureau Australia. Starting on Saturday 22nd September, Munich Brauhaus restaurants in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will launch a line-up of family-friendly entertainment, including a colourful street parade of costumed performers and oompah bands. Everything we know and love about Oktoberfest will be on display, from hot-dog eating competitions to a Dogs of Oktoberfest contest. Launching the very same day is the Beerhaus Spectacular at 7:30pm, offering a whimsical evening of cabaret dancers, burlesque performers, comedy shows and hilarious on-stage challenges. In collaboration with its vendor Bodega 1904, inner-west foodie precinct the Tramsheds will be launching its own grower’s markets. To be held every Sunday from 8.00am to 2.00pm, the community event will see the historic Rozelle Tram Deport in Forest Lodge transformed into a hub of fresh produce.
