To celebrate American Express delicious. Month Out (and our favourite cool, crisp cocktail) we held a cocktail party with a twist at Monopole in the Sydney CBD.

The event was held at the newly transformed Monopole, a sleek wine bar by acclaimed chef and restaurateur Brent Savage and sommelier Nick Hildebrandt.

The sold-out event had two sittings, one at 6pm and a second at 8:30pm.

Shaken, stirred, wet or dry? The evening kicked off with expertly-made gin martinis with an assortment of garnishes.

And never an empty wine glass, with bottomless vinos by Calabria Family Wines.

The menu was made up of four courses plus snacks curated by Brent Savage.

A parade of small plates were served, including parmesan cheese and caramelised onion gougères (pictured) and Jerusalem artichoke with smoked sour cream and trout roe.

There was also chicken liver parfait with port wine jelly and sourdough toasts.

For something light and fresh, the menu included cos lettuce with soft herbs, lemon and Parmesan.

The guest list included media and VIPs such as delicious. editor Samantha Jones and celebrity chef Matt Preston.

All guests left with an American Express delicious. Month Out gift bag which included a bottle of 2019 Calabria Family Wines Three Bridges Barossa Valley Grenache, a bottled martini by Monopole, the May issue of delicious. magazine and a gift voucher for In The Roundhouse.
