For one day only, Supernormal opened its doors bright and early for a brunch event like no other.

Forget the bacon and egg roll and smashed avo, the special brunch event was all about the flavours of Asia.

To start, guests sampled handmade dumplings and dim sum from American Express delicious. Month Out branded bamboo steamers.

The menu included steamed chicken and black bean dumplings, steamed vegetable buns (pictured), and pork and shiitake shumai.

Also on the menu were these cos lettuce cups filled with spanner crab, pickled crab and mandarin dressing.

For the main course, there was tea-smoked chicken with Shanxi aged vinegar and preserved apricot (pictured), typhoon shelter rice with lap cheong, and baby kale and garlic scapes.

Move over mimosa, this Yuzushu Highball is our new favourite brunch cocktail.

It’s not every day we have wines with breakfast. Guests enjoyed bottomless bubbles and vino by Calabria Family Wines.

One lucky diner won a $300 dining voucher.
