Where better to celebrate American Express delicious. Month Out in Melbourne than the new world-class W Hotel?

The evening kicked off with cocktails and canapés at the beautiful new Curious bar at the W Melbourne.

To get the party started, guests could choose between two whisky highballs, Johnnie’s Melbourne Minutes and Blue Flight to Kilmarnock made with Johnnie Walker Gold.

For the wine drinkers, there were bottomless bubbles and wines by Calabria Family Wines.

The guest list included media and VIPs, including renowned chefs Adam D’Sylva and Andrew McConnell.

For the second part of the evenings, guests took a spiral staircase up to Lollo for dinner.

The sharing menu included some of Adam D’Sylva’s most popular plates, including a tataki of yellowfin tuna with fresh horseradish, pomegranate, coriander and ponzu (pictured) and grilled Mooloolaba prawns with green mango salad.

Main dishes included the red duck curry, D’Sylva’s famous duck lasagne, and asparagus and ricotta tortellini with silverbeet and beurre noisette (pictured).

To end the evening, guests went up to WET Deck on the level four rooftop for after-dinner drinks and dessert.

Guests enjoyed miniature desserts and coupes of Three Bridges botrytis, with entertainment by the fabulous Max Malanaphy (@maxdragqueen).

All guests left with an American Express delicious. Month Out gift bag which included a bottle of Calabria Family Wines, Two Good Co body lotion, the new issue of delicious. magazine and a gift voucher for In The Roundhouse.
