Peter Gilmore is holding an exclusive cooking masterclass at Taste of Sydney, and you can join in. He's teaching a small class how to cook his famous lamington from Bennelong, as well as his red claw yabbies with buckwheat pikelets, cultured cream and lemon jam.

delicious. has teamed up with Peter Gilmore, the Sydney chef behind Quay and Bennelong, to host an exclusive masterclasses at the upcoming Taste of Sydney festival.

Gilmore will teach guests to the Electrolux Taste Theatre on Saturday March 12 how to make two of his most famous dishes from Bennelong: the famous lamington, as well as his red claw yabbies with buckwheat pikelets, cultured cream and lemon jam.

After the masterclasses, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and a dish in the VIP marquee prior.

Gilmore is the Executive Chef of Quay restaurant in Sydney and Bennelong Opera House and has rightly described his food as “inspired by nature”.  His creative cuisine has seen both restaurants receive an unprecedented number of Australian and international awards, and establish themselves at the forefront of Australia’s food scene.
