Celebrating the best produce that Australia has to offer, the delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards is back for another year to applaud the hard work, dedication and commitment to sustainability of our land’s most impressive farmers, fishers, growers and makers.
Now in its 19th year, the Produce Awards focus on Australia’s best producers – the people who grow, cultivate, harvest and catch the produce supplied to the country’s leading chefs and hospitality venues.

The pool of finalists this year represented producers at the very forefront of the industry, at a time when sustainability and transparency have never been more important.

Harvey Norman Executive Chairman Gerry Harvey said, “Congratulations to the 2024 winners. Harvey Norman continues to support the inspirational delicious. Produce Awards because of you, and the talent of every one of the finalists for this year. You have created a new benchmark for excellence in food production for innovation, taste and sustainable practice.”
A total of six winners were named by the National Judging panel, which includes some of Australia’s most renowned chefs: Danielle Alvarez, Karena Armstrong, Jo Barrett, Peter Gilmore, Lennox Hastie, Andrew McConnell, Matt Moran, Josh Niland, Matt Stone and Alla Wolf-Tasker.

Winners were recognised across four major categories – Dairy, Earth, Paddock and Sea – and the judges also gave a special award to one particular producer for outstanding innovation in sustainability.
The overall Producer of the Year Award, presented by Harvey Norman, was awarded to Chris Bolton Fishing from Queensland.
Chef Matt Moran said, “I feel so honoured for this year’s awards celebration to be hosted at Chiswick. I’m very proud to be part of this campaign. Each year, I am blown away by the quality of produce that we taste, and in awe of the resilience of our Australian farmers. Supporting our Australian producers, who work tirelessly to deliver outstanding produce, is so important for our industry.”
