It was a great year for sustainable seafood, but who else took out the prestigious awards?
Seafood dominated this year, said Alla Wolf-Tasker, showing that the Australian industry is becoming more serious.
Sustainable, omega-3 packed and certified by the Marine Stewardship Council, Coorong Yellow-Eye Mullet, produced by Coorong Wild Seafood, wooed the judges, earning producer of the year and from the sea medals.
Sea spray was also a popular pick, earning a from the earth (primary) medal and best new product. Snowy River Station‘s sea spray was a new discovery, similar in flavor to samphire but more delicate and fern-like.
