There were tears, there was laughter, there were smiles for miles and there was so much pride. The 2023 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards ceremony was a truly joyful event, as the who’s who of Australian food gathered to celebrate the finest producers in the land. Held on Thursday, August 24 at Rekōdo Restaurant & Vinyl Bar in Sydney’s Barangaroo, the event marks the 18th year of this most prestigious of awards programs. Chefs, food-lovers, industry icons and members of the extended delicious. family gathered to honour those quiet achievers of the country’s food scene – our producers. These are the growers, makers, fishers and farmers who are responsible for the world-class ingredients that appear on the menus of Australia’s finest dining establishments. Here, we share some highlights from an evening that was truly delicious, in every way.
