Mike really likes Americanos and really likes Merrick, so this is his tribute cocktail that isn’t creepy at all, even though he likes drinking them while watching Merrick sleep. This is an Australian version of the classic Americano cocktail, using only Australian ingredients. The traditional recipe is Campari, vermouth (usually sweet but Mike likes dry) and a splash of soda water, garnished with orange slices.
Ingredients (4)
- 45ml Poor Tom’s Imbroglio liqueur (substitute Campari)
- 45ml Maidenii Dry Vermouth
- Soda water
- Finger limes, to serve

1.Combine imbroglio and vermouth together. Divide between tumblers, pouring over ice, and top with soda water. Garnish with native finger lime pearls.
