Bay-wrapped prunes in bacon
Crispy bacon adds flavour and bay leaves add aroma to these tasty prune snacks.

Ingredients (3)

  • 10 slices of streaky bacon, rind removed
  • 20 pitted prunes
  • 20 fresh bay leaves

Method

  • 1.
    Preheat oven to 180°C. Halve 10 slices of streaky bacon and remove rind.
  • 2.
    Wrap a slice of bacon around a pitted prune, secure with a cocktail stick and place a fresh bay leaf on the skewer. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  • 3.
    Place on a baking tray and bake for 6-8 minutes until bacon is crispy.
