Cime di rapa with chilli
serves
6
This hearty leaf is broccoli's distant cousin, and this easy three ingredient side packs a mighty flavour punch.
Ingredients (3)
- 2kg broccoli rabe (see note)
- Extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
- 2 long red chillies, thinly sliced
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.If any rapa stems are thick, cut through lengthways so they cook evenly. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Cook rapa, in batches, for 30 seconds or until just tender.
-
2.Drain rapa well and arrange in a serving bowl. Drizzle with oil, season with salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper and sprinkle with chilli to serve.
Recipe Notes
Cime di rapa, also called broccoli rabe, is a brassica with delicious young leaves that taste slightly peppery.
