Chocolate spelt cake
This shiny chocolate glaze makes any cake look like it has been baked in a professional kitchen.
Ingredients (5)
- 1/2 cup (125ml) thin cream
- 150g good quality dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 45g unsalted butter
Method

1.To make the glaze topping, place all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate has melted and the ingredients are well combined, smooth and glossy.

2.Pour the glaze over the top of the cake.
