Kick off the celebrations with these Christmas prawn rolls

Name: Christmas prawn rolls recipe

Ingredients: Unsalted butter, room temperature, to spread; 10 store-bought soft small white rolls, halved horizontally; 200g Kewpie mayonnaise (substitute good-quality mayonnaise), to drizzle; 1kg large cooked Australian prawns, peeled, deveined; Lemon juice, to taste; Tabasco, to taste; Chopped chives, to serve

Unsalted butter, room temperature, to spread
10 store-bought soft small white rolls, halved horizontally
200g Kewpie mayonnaise (substitute good-quality mayonnaise), to drizzle
1kg large cooked Australian prawns, peeled, deveined
Lemon juice, to taste
Tabasco, to taste
Chopped chives, to serve

Method

1.

Butter each roll then drizzle the mayonnaise over the base of each roll and spread. Add more if you like. Divide prawns among rolls and season to taste. Sprinkle generously with sea salt, squeeze over lemon juice and Tabasco, to taste, and scatter over chives. Serve immediately.
