Ingredients (7)

  • Unsalted butter, room temperature, to spread
  • 10 store-bought soft small white rolls, halved horizontally
  • 200g Kewpie mayonnaise (substitute good-quality mayonnaise), to drizzle
  • 1kg large cooked Australian prawns, peeled, deveined
  • Lemon juice, to taste
  • Tabasco, to taste
  • Chopped chives, to serve

Method

  • 1.
    Butter each roll then drizzle the mayonnaise over the base of each roll and spread. Add more if you like. Divide prawns among rolls and season to taste. Sprinkle generously with sea salt, squeeze over lemon juice and Tabasco, to taste, and scatter over chives. Serve immediately.
