"A small hit of salt tempers the sweetness in these energy-packed sweets. Store these moreish treats in the fridge in an airtight container for up to two weeks," says Lucy Busuttil.
Ingredients (9)
- 2 cups (340g) pitted prunes
- 1 cup (150g) macadamias
- 1/2 cup (45g) desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup (80g) chia seeds
- 1/4 cup (25g) raw cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tbs coconut oil, melted
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cardamom (or ground cinnamon)
- 1/2 tsp salt flakes

1.Place prunes and macadamias in a food processor and blitz until finely chopped. Add 1/2 cup coconut and remaining ingredients and process until mixture comes together.

2.Place remaining coconut in a small tray. Roll heaped tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls, then roll them in coconut. Chill to firm up before serving.
