Detox green bowl
Doing a detox never looked or tasted so appealing.
This recipe is an edited extract from Bondi Harvest: Balance - the Australian Wholefood Cook Book by Guy Turland and Mark Alston, $39.99, HarperCollins, out now.
Ingredients (13)
- 1 avocado, flesh scooped out
- 1 frozen peeled and chopped banana
- Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 10 mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 250 ml (9 fl oz/1 cup) coconut water
- 1 tablespoon goji berries
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
- 1 tablespoon fresh berries
- 1 green apple, sliced
- 1 kiwi fruit, sliced
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Place the avocado, banana, lemon zest, ginger, spinach leaves, mint, maple syrup and half the coconut water into a blender. Blend on high, slowly adding the remaining coconut water, until thick and smooth.

2.Pour into bowls and garnish with berries, flaxseeds, apple and kiwi fruit.
