Chocolate, cherry oat biscuits
Feel a little naughty when you bite into these sweet currant biscuits.
Ingredients (5)
- 100g unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups (225g) plain flour
- 50g currants
- 2 tablespoons (40g) caster sugar, plus extra to sprinkle
- 50-75ml milk
Method

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

2.Use your fingers to rub butter into flour until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add currants and sugar, then stir in enough milk to give a firm dough.

3.Roll out on a floured board until about 1/2cm thick. Cut out circles with an 8cm pastry cutter and place on the lined tray.

4.Sprinkle with the extra caster sugar and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until light golden.
