Festive salad dressing

Try this all-rounder with grilled vegetables, salads and seafood.
Ingredients (4)
- 1/4 cup (90g) runny honey
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
- 2 tbs each white balsamic vinegar and lemon juice
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil

1.For the dressing, combine the honey and spice in a small saucepan over high heat and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 2 minutes or until honey is dark caramel and big bubbles start to subside. Remove from heat and stand for 1 minute. Carefully add vinegar and juice and whisk until smooth. Strain into a medium bowl. Slowly whisk in the oil to emulsify. Season with salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper. Serve or store (see recipe notes).
