Snoop Dogg's Fruity Loop Bars
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Snoop Loops! That's right, scrubs. lf y'all remember anything from my first cookbook, you remember that I love me some breakfast cereal, especially Fruit Loops. Instead of dropping these colourful loops in a bowl of milk, I gave them the marshmallow bar treatment."

Ingredients (6)

  • 6 tbsp (85 g) salted butter
  • One 1 lb (455 g) bag of marshmallows
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups (100 g) crisped rice cereal
  • 2 cups (60 g) Fruit Loops or other fruit cereal
  • 1 cup (180 g) white chocolate chips

Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

Method

  • 1.
Tear a sheet of aluminium foil large enough to overhang a 9 by 13 in (23 by 33 cm) baking pan by 4 in (10 cm) on both ends. Butter the foil generously and press it into the pan, smoothing down the sides. Reserve the butter wrapper.
  • 2.
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Remove the pot from the heat and add the vanilla.
  • 3.
Using a rubber or silicone spatula, and working quickly, mix the crisped rice cereal, fruit cereal, and white chocolate chips into the marshmallow mixture. Turn the mixture out into the prepared pan. Use the reserved butter wrapper to firmly press the mixture into an even layer, filling the pan. Let the mixture sit at room temperature until cool.
  • 4.
Use the foil overhang to Iift the slab of treats onto a cutting board. Cut into 24 pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
