Fruit and nut chocolate drops

- 1/4 cup unsalted, shelled pistachio nuts, halved
- 1/3 cup sultanas
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons chopped candied orange peel*
- 150g good-quality milk or dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Method

1.Mix the pistachio nuts, sultanas, almonds and candied orange peel in a bowl. Set aside.

2.Get an adult to help melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, making sure bowl does not touch water. Stir until smooth. Lay a sheet of baking paper on a flat tray and use a teaspoon to spread 4cm-wide circles of chocolate on the paper. Quickly decorate with a mixture of the toppings, then allow to cool and harden. You can refrigerate the drops, if desired.
