Honey glazed baby carrots
Honey and zaatar spiced carrots are the perfect side for a Sunday roast or try with our herb-roasted lamb racks recipe.

Ingredients (4)

  • 4 bunches baby (Dutch) carrots, peeled
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 150g honey
  • Zaatar (Middle Eastern spice mix), to serve

Method

  • 1.
    Place carrots in a large saucepan of cold salted water. Bring to the boil over high heat, and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain.
  • 2.
    Heat a large frypan over medium-high heat and add butter. Cook for 1 minute, then add half the carrots and cook, tossing, for 4 minutes to baste. Add half the honey and cook, tossing, for a further 1 minute or until glazed. Season. Remove and keep warm. Repeat with remaining carrots.
  • 3.
    Serve carrots warm sprinkled with zaatar.
