Hot marshmallow fudge sundaes
The goey marshmallows add an extra sweet element to the classic ice cream sundae.
Ingredients (6)
- 1 cup (250ml) thickened cream
- 180g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp cocoa powder, plus extra to dust
- 100g marshmallows
- Vanilla and chocolate ice cream
- 1/3 cup (50g) roasted hazelnuts, skins removed, halved

1.Place the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer.

2.Remove from heat, add the chocolate and cocoa, then mix until smooth and glossy. Return to low heat, add the marshmallows and stir gently until they start to melt.

3.Scoop ice cream into serving bowls and drizzle over the hot fudge marshmallow sauce. Scatter with hazelnuts, dust lightly with cocoa and serve immediately.
