Hummus with spicy chorizo and green chilli relish

The spicy hummus recipe that will give a little zing to any leftover menu.
Ingredients (9)
- 2 long green chillies, finely chopped
- Green Tabasco, to taste
- Juice of 3 lemons
- 400g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
- 1/2 cup (140g) tahini
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 chorizo, skins removed, finely chopped
- 1 tbs pomegranate molasses
- Micro herbs, corn chips and lemon wedges, to serve

1.To make relish, combine chilli, Tabasco and one-third lemon juice in a bowl. Season with salt and set aside.

2.Place chickpeas in a food processor and whiz until finely chopped. Add the tahini and remaining lemon juice and whiz to combine. With the motor running, slowly add 100ml iced water in a thin steady stream.

3.Whiz until very smooth. Add garlic and whiz to combine. Season with salt.

4.Meanwhile, place chorizo in a non-stick frypan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 6-7 minutes until crisp. Add molasses and remove from heat.

5.Spread hummus into a serving bowl, scatter with chorizo, relish and micro herbs. Serve with corn chips and lemon.
