This homemade cheese will add interesting flavour-filled twist to your more traditional cheese board. You can refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Ingredients (5)

  • 500g thick greek-style yoghurt
  • 1/4 tsp finely grated orange zest and
  • 2 tbs juice, plus segments to serve
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  • 1.
    Place a large sieve over a bowl, ensuring it doesn't touch the base. line with muslin or a clean chux, leaving enough overhanging the sides to cover. Place yoghurt in sieve, draw muslin up over top, then cover with plastic wrap. Chill overnight to drain.

    The next day, transfer thick yoghurt cheese to a bowl, discarding any liquid. gently stir in zest, juice, honey and vanilla. Adjust flavours to taste, then serve topped with orange segments.
