This indulgent dessert combines the juicy sweetness of pears with the spiced, caramelised flavour of Biscoff biscuits. It's a comforting treat that's perfect for any occasion. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of double cream for extra indulgence.
You’ll need a round 1.5L capacity dish for this recipe.
Ingredients (8)
- 4 ripe pears, peeled, cored, sliced
- 2 1/2 tbs lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (75g) plain flour
- 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
- 1/3 cup (80g) brown sugar
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 125g Biscoff biscuits, crushed
- Ice cream or double cream and maple syrup, to serve

1.Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced.

2.In a large bowl, toss the pear slices with lemon juice. Arrange them evenly in a round 1.5L capacity dish.

3.In another bowl, combine flour, oats and brown sugar. Add melted butter and mix well. Add crushed Biscoff biscuits and mix until combined. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the pears.

4.Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the pears are tender.

5.Serve warm with double cream and a drizzle of maple syrup.
