Ingredients (4)

  • 1kg potatoes (pontiac or desiree), peeled, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) milk
  • 200ml cream
  • 150g unsalted butter

Method

  • 1.
    Cook potato in boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes until tender, then drain.
  • 2.
    Meanwhile, heat milk, cream and butter until butter has melted and mixture is hot.
  • 3.
    Mash potatoes, then add cream mixture and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth. Season and serve warm.
