Ingredients (5)
- 10ml French absinthe
- 60ml Cognac VS
- 2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- 10ml sugar syrup
- Pared orange zest, twisted
Method

1.Fill a rocks glass with ice and pour absinthe over ice. Set aside. In a mixing glass, combine cognac, bitters and syrup and top with ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Discard ice in the rocks glass (this will give you a slightly chilled empty glass with just a hint of absinthe). Strain cocktail into rocks glass and serve.
