Smoked sausages with mustard and mash
Please the crowd with a smoked sausage smorgasbord served with mustard and mash.
Ingredients (5)
- 1kg assorted smoked sausages (such as frankfurts, bratwurst, rookwurst, weisswurst, kransky, cervelat)
- Olive oil, to brush
- 1/2 cup each wholegrain and Dijon mustard
- Tomato and barbecue sauces, to serve
- Rye bread, mashed potatoes and green vegetables, to serve (optional)
Method

1.Check cooking instructions for each sausage, as some need to be poached and others grilled. To poach, place in a large pan of boiling water, and simmer according to directions. To grill, preheat a grill or chargrill to medium-high. Prick sausages with a skewer, brush with oil and grill until cooked or heated through.

2.Slice sausages, place in a serving dish and place mustards and sauces in serving pots. Serve with buttered rye bread, mashed potatoes and green vegetables or salad if desired.
