Ingredients: 2 tbs lime juice; 1/3 red onion, finely chopped; 3 avocados, halved; 1 garlic clove, crushed; 1 bunch coriander, leaves picked, finely chopped; 1 jalapeno, finely chopped, plus extra chopped to serve; 1 tbs extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to drizzle; 1 tsp green Tabasco; Lavosh crispbread, to serve

No gathering is complete without a plate of guacamole.

2 tbs lime juice
1/3 red onion, finely chopped
3 avocados, halved
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 bunch coriander, leaves picked, finely chopped
1 jalapeno, finely chopped, plus extra chopped to serve
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to drizzle
1 tsp green Tabasco
Lavosh crispbread, to serve

Method

1.

Place lime juice, onion and 1 tsp salt flakes in a bowl and set aside to soften slightly. Scoop avocado into a bowl and roughly mash. Add garlic, half the coriander, jalapeno, olive oil, Tabasco and the onion and lime juice mixture. Fold to combine. Season to taste, then spread over a serving plate. Scatter with remaining coriander, drizzle with extra olive oil and extra jalapeno. Serve with lavosh.
