This sweet and soothing drink will be your new winter cure-all.
Ingredients (5)
- 2L bottled apple juice
- Strips of lemon rind from 1 lemon
- 2cm piece ginger, finely sliced
- 8 cinnamon sticks
- 1 green apple, thinly sliced
Method

1.Place apple juice in a jug with lemon rind, ginger and 2 cinnamon sticks. Leave to infuse for 1 hour, then transfer to a saucepan. Heat gently and strain into heatproof glasses. Place a cinnamon stick and an apple slice into each glass, and serve warm.
