White chocolate and ginger caramel slice

Everybody loves a caramel slice, but we're willing to bet you've not had one like this before.
Ingredients (10)
- 1 1/3 cups (200g) plain flour
- 270g unsalted butter, melted, cooled
- 100g brown sugar
- 50g desiccated coconut
- 1 tbs ground ginger
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 x 395g NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/2 cup (125ml) golden syrup
- 300g white chocolate, chopped
- 3 tsp vegetable oil
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Preheat the oven to 170°C. Grease a 20cm x 30cm lamington pan and line with baking paper.

2.Place flour, 150g butter, sugar, coconut, ginger and vanilla in a bowl and stir to combine. Press into the base of prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden. Set aside to cool.

3.Place condensed milk, golden syrup and remaining 120g butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and stir until smooth. Pour over base and bake for 30-35 minutes or until dark golden. Set aside to cool completely.

4.Place chocolate and oil in a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water (don’t let the bowl touch the water). Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then stir until melted and smooth. Cool slightly, then pour over caramel. Chill for 2 hours or until set.

5.Remove from fridge and cut into slices to serve.
